Control Panel in Better Explorer

description

I know that Better Explorer is a "file manager", not a "system settings manager".

But if you go to Desktop and click on Control Panel, you'll notice that :
  • the blue sidebar on the left is correctly displayed
  • there is nothing in the middle of the window.. and that's the problem :-)

I am curious, what do you plan to do with the Control Panel ?
  • fix it to display its content ?
  • ensure that clicking on the Control Panel icon launches the official Explorer.exe

    bye

I tested this with build 91437 on Windows 7 64bit. When I click on the Control Panel in Better Explorer's tree, I get the various Icons for System and Security, Network and Internet, Hardware and Sound etc. The problem is when I click on those sub-items such as System and Security it says No Items to display. When I do this in normal Windows Explorer I get all the sub items that are under System and Security such as Action Center, Windows Firewall etc. For some reason these sub-items are not showing in Better Explorer. See attached screenshot.

The same problem occurs to me.

Everything in BetterExplorer is technically capable of handling the Control Panel, but perhaps we have to enable something somewhere or something...
