Windows 7 Enterprise x64

description

Installed latest version of Better Explorer 2.0.0.731 Alpha and it fails to launch - even after waiting several minutes. I also tried compatibility mode with Vista and XP - Did I miss something ?

Keep up the awesome work - can't wait for a fully working version to use :)

A common problem is that BetterExplorer won't start up, which is why the reg file is offered for download. If you download and try the file and it still won't open (try waiting a few moments before determining it won't run), then you might have another issue and that's when you should contact us.

Greetings. Did you make sure you downloaded and run the Reg patch yet? On the downloads page, click on the "Better Explorer reg" file, download it, and then open it. A User Account Control prompt may appear, and just click OK and it'll change the settings in BetterExplorer to the default. I ran into startup problems with BetterExplorer when I first downloaded it too. :) If that solves your problem, let me know. :)
