In the View tab, when you click on the "More Columns" button, it displays a new (small) window that allows you to choose what columns to add. But this window can't be moved. :-(
 
And more annoying... Once you have added a new column, as soon as you change the active folder, the column disappears..

I really would like to have the full address of a folder displayed in the addressbar when i click in it, like the Windows Explorer. The copy address function is present but not transparent enough. Now when clicking in the addressbar i only seen one higher level folder. Nice work by the way! Imre Fabian

It appears that the breadcrumb bar is no longer working properly. I will take a look into it and will try to fix it.

Thank you, though, for bringing this to my attention. I probably would've never found this issue with the breadcrumb bar.

For me, just clicking the "More Columns" button crashes the Better Explorer.
Version 2.0.2.251112.2843 64 bits
On Windows 7 (all paches and service packs applied).
I use Avast 7 Internet Security.

Whenever user tries to open the computer tab in the better explorer tabs, the application get crashed and it forces the user to close the application .
The process goes like this ->
1. open the better explorer from start button or the shortcut of BE
2. In the tabs section of the better explorer, when user tries to click on computer module, the system get crashed (this applies only for the windows 7 home premium ).

open BE->tabs section -> computer module-> crash.

Its been a while since I added a new idea and its probably too late to do so now but have been keeping up with the progress here and comments. The product has come a long way and appreciate the changes.

One last suggestion:

It would be so useful if you could save a group of tabs open to different folders and restore that group. In chrome (browser) there is an extension that is called freshstart that does this and is so useful to use for a group of tabs you use over and over linked to pages. In the case of BE, it would allow you to create a group of tabbed folder locations that you use over and over without having to find them each time you need to work on the opened folders.

I'm afraid this idea came too late but wanted to add it to your list anyway!

Could there also be an option (a checkbox in File tab > Options for example) to automatically display the Tools tab, if one is avaivable ?

Example : You have no file selected and your current tab is Home.
Then you select a BMP image, the Image Tools tab appears and is automatically activated.

Oh, do you mean that when you select an image, it automatically switches over to the Images Tools tab? That is an interesting idea... And definitely do-able. I can work on that tonight.
