Project Description

This is a replacement for the standard Windows Explorer with more features for more convenience. One of that is Tabs, Ribbon interface, additional conditional tabs and so on!

This Project is designed for use with Windows 7 (On Older Operating systems it WILL NOT work).

On x64 systems for now it working but a bit slow due to that the most dlls are x32!

The main goals of this project are:

- Adding Ribbon Control UI like in Windows 8 (Implemented)
- Adding tab functionality together with use of standard explorer browser control (Implemented)
- Adding additional features like:

Changing Library icons (conditional tab for Libraries) (Implemented)
File operation with files and folders(Implemented)
Synchronized command promt
Change of folder icons (conditional tab for folders)
Extended Jump list support (Windows 7)(Implemented)
Extended search conditional tab like extended search pane in Vista (Windows 7)(In progress. Most of them implemented)

Well the things got better :)

Now i am making the new version of Better explorer that is kind of similar with Explorer in Windows 8 but with tabs.

Hello to all who were interested in this current project.

There was no release from long time ago due to lack of time. But recently I have decided to revive the project.

I decided to replace the ShellView that is show in the current Alpha with a custom one that can give us more opportunity of modifying it.

Until now I was implementing the new Listview and TreeView and some basic functionality.

But I NEED help from other developers. So if someone wants to help, contact me via message system!!!!!! Thanks!
